MDN Guru Gobind Singh Public School

Mata Draupadi Namdhari Guru Gobind Singh Public School is eight kilometre away from Palamu district headquarters on Daltonganj Panki Road.

The honour of opening this school goes to the first speaker of Jharkhand Assembly, Hon’ble Inder Singh Namdhari. This school is run by Guru Gobind Singh Educational Society, Bokaro Steel City, Bokaro. It is 10+2 school.

The motto of this School is to impart quality education to all the students, who chetyerish for it.

GGP Schools are run by the Guru Gobind Singh Educational Society, an autonomous organization registered in April, 1979 with the govt. of undivided Bihar. The Pioneering efforts of the Sikh officers at BSL under the able guidance of Sri G S Grawal are enshrined in the school history. The Society has its head quarter at GGPS, Sec –V/B, Bokaro Steel City. Over the year, the Society has set up four CBSE recognized schools at Bokaro, Chas, Dhanbad and Daltonganj Technical College of repute at Kandra, Chas.

The total strength of all the school is near 11000 .There is a great pressure for admission but we cannot accept more children .The Students are doing well in academic .The CBSE Board result have been 99.5 % to 100%. A large number of students are getting admission in engineering medical and other good professional colleges. The performance of students in sports, athletics, quiz competitions and other cultural activities are commendable.
