Please read the following rules and regulations carefully.
General Guidelines for Parents / Guardians
The school believes in discipline, obedience, and punctuality. Violation of school
rules, poor performance, or prolonged absence may lead to disciplinary action, including
transfer certificate issuance.
Parents/Guardians are not allowed to enter classrooms during teaching hours.
Inform the school immediately in case of any change in address or contact number.
Half-day leave is generally not permitted due to security reasons.
Children suffering from infectious diseases should not be sent to school.
Attendance of Parents/Guardians during Parent-Teacher Meetings is mandatory.
A duplicate report card will be issued on payment of ₹50 in case of loss.
Student's name, admission number, class, section, and house should be marked on personal
belongings.
Students are responsible for any damage caused to school property.
Students should not bring costly items to school. The school is not responsible for any
loss.
Mobile phones are strictly prohibited inside the school campus.
Leave should be taken only in unavoidable circumstances after approval from the Vice
Principal or Principal.
Parents should ensure regularity, punctuality, discipline, and monitor homework and
school diary regularly.
For genuine complaints, parents should meet or write directly to the Principal.
Transfer Certificate (T.C.) Rules
One month's prior notice is mandatory before applying for a Transfer Certificate.
T.C. will be issued within one week after payment of ₹200 and clearance of all dues.
Caution money will be refunded only after the Transfer Certificate is issued.
Applications submitted after 31st March require payment of three months' tuition fee and
applicable charges.
Caution money must be claimed within 3 months after leaving the school.
Students leaving without informing the school must pay all dues till the end of the
academic year.
Transfer Certificates are not issued during summer vacation.
Students seeking T.C. after fresh admission must pay fees for nine months of the
academic session.
Library Rules
Maintain complete silence inside the library.
Late return of books will attract a fine of ₹1 per day.
Reference books cannot be taken outside the library.
Do not write, tear, or damage library books.
Report any damaged book before borrowing.
Students may borrow one book at a time for seven days.
Book issue may be suspended by the Principal.
All books must be returned two weeks before the final examination.
Library clearance is mandatory before issuing a Transfer Certificate.
Laboratory Rules
Maintain silence and discipline inside the laboratory.
Keep seats, instruments, and practical records neat and organized.
Handle only the equipment issued for practical work.
Handle glassware and laboratory equipment carefully.
Report damaged equipment immediately to the instructor.
White laboratory coats are compulsory in Science Labs.
Leave the laboratory clean and properly arranged after practical work.
Transport Facility & Bus Rules
Transport Facility
Bus facility is available subject to seat availability.
Bus stop changes are generally not permitted.
School reserves the right to revise transport fees.
30 days' written notice is required for cancellation of bus service.
Bus Rules
Students must always carry a valid Bus Pass.
Traveling without a Bus Pass will require payment of the full month's fare.
Special trips require prior approval from the Vice Principal or Principal.
Students must reach the bus stop at least five minutes before arrival.
Stand away from the road until the bus arrives.
Buses will not wait for late students.
Board only after the bus comes to a complete stop.
Occupy vacant seats immediately after boarding.
Do not move around or lean outside the windows while the bus is moving.
Bus routes and stops are decided by the school and may be revised.
Bus Pass cannot be cancelled for Class XII students after July.
Do not throw any object inside or outside the bus.
Students will be responsible for any damage caused to the bus.
Maintain discipline and avoid shouting or unruly behaviour.
Do not distract the driver.
Teachers, bus monitors, and students are responsible for maintaining discipline.

School Fee Rules
Monthly fees are accepted from the 1st to the 25th of every month (8:00 AM – 1:00 PM).
If the 25th is a holiday, the previous working day is considered the last date.
No fees will be accepted after the due date.
Late fee of ₹30 will be charged after the 25th.
Annual fees must be deposited before the summer vacation.
Fees may be paid by local cheque in favour of "Guru Gobind Singh Public
School".
A penalty of ₹100 will be charged for dishonoured cheques.
Parents are advised not to send cash through very young children.
Fees for February–March and May–June must be paid together by 25th February and 25th May
respectively.
Fee defaulters will not be allowed to appear in the 2nd Summative Examination and
progress reports may be withheld.
The school reserves the right to revise fees whenever necessary.
